Blog:   Trash the Dress?  Yes or No 

Okay sure a bead might fall off,  some lace might get torn, and if you dive into the ocean wearing silk, your dress might come out looking a little worse for wear.  But the idea that TTD means your dress is definitely going in the garbage afterwards is just not true!

Trashing your dress without ruining it is totally doable, it just requires a little bit of planning.  Choose fabrics and detailing carefully or plan to have a second (cheaper) dress on hand just for trashing.

I was So honoured to be asked by Alison and Lee to perform their Wedding Ceremony which was my first same-sex marriage.  This delightful couple chose to have their wedding day held on the same date they had their Commitment Ceremony - 20 years earlier. This ceremony was filled with so much honest emotion and delight in finally being able to marry legally. Best wishes for your continued happiness together.

I loved everything about this ceremony.  Our Bride was so stunning and my heart melted when I saw their much-loved pooch Ava who was  our Ring Bearer - Pacific Harbour Golf and Country Club are pooch friendly and Sam the functions manager had everything looking beautiful.
